Full Stack WordPress Developer (4 Years Experience)

Brief About Role:

We maintain design & development WP theme & plugins and try to use minimum outside plugins to improve security & scalability. Which makes this job difficult and not suitable for any WP developer who just worked on theme setup, or just customized minor css or php functionality at basic level.

As in maintenance you must read the code of other developers and understand the flow, debug at its best and bring the estimation or resolve if it’s a quick fix.

This role is best suited for you if you have strong fundamentals of frontend & backend skills along with practical knowledge. So we give any issue related to WP, you must be capable of resolving it.

You will work with industry’s best WP VIP developers having 8-10 years of experience, which will help you to shape up your skills and explore the unexplored areas of WordPress.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality WordPress websites.
• Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
• Optimize website performance, scalability, and security.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins
• Convert PSD / Figma design to responsive functional design (Frontend)
• Optimize website performance, speed, and security (Understanding of Google Page Speed, GT Matrix) 
• Implement and customize WordPress REST API and third-party integrations (Server to Server & Client to Server API Fire & Response Handling)
• Work with WooCommerce (customizing templates, payment gateways, order management)
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in WordPress themes and plugins
• Manage database queries, caching, and site optimization techniques
• Ensure website SEO best practices and mobile responsiveness
• Deploy and maintain WordPress sites on cPanel, VPS, or cloud hosting platforms

Required Skills & Experience

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in WordPress theme and plugin development
• Strong fundamentals of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS (Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS)
• Git is a must.
• Experience working with WP_Query, hooks (actions & filters), shortcodes, widgets, block development and custom post types
• Understanding of WordPress Cron jobs, REST API, and AJAX in WP
• Familiarity with security best practices, input validation, and escaping techniques
• Understanding of Git version control and deployment processes
• Experience with WooCommerce customization and third-party API integrations
• Ability to work with page builders (Elementor, Gutenberg, WPBakery)
• Experience with Gutenberg block development
• Experience with multisite WordPress environments
• Exposure to Google Analytics, GTM, and Facebook Pixel integration
